Warranty Policy

At Pridemscooter, we stand behind the quality and reliability of the mobility products we sell. Our warranty policy is designed to give you peace of mind and provide support if your product develops a qualifying manufacturing defect.

1. Warranty Coverage

Mobility scooters and other eligible products purchased from pridemscooter may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty or our applicable product warranty.

The warranty period, coverage, and conditions may vary depending on the specific product and manufacturer.

Please refer to the warranty information supplied with your product or contact our customer service team to confirm the warranty applicable to your purchase.

2. What the Warranty Covers

Subject to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, coverage may include defects in:

  • Materials

  • Workmanship

  • Manufacturing

  • Certain electrical or mechanical components

  • Other components specifically covered by the manufacturer’s warranty

If a covered defect occurs during the applicable warranty period, we may, depending on the circumstances and warranty terms, arrange for:

  • Repair of the affected component

  • Replacement of the affected component

  • Replacement of the product

  • Another remedy permitted under the applicable warranty

The specific remedy will depend on the nature of the defect, the product, available parts, and the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

3. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

Unless specifically covered by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, warranty coverage generally does not apply to damage or problems caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Accidental damage

  • Misuse or abuse

  • Negligence

  • Improper operation

  • Failure to follow the product’s operating instructions

  • Unauthorized modifications or alterations

  • Improper assembly or installation

  • Water, flooding, fire, or other environmental damage

  • Improper storage

  • Use of incompatible accessories or components

  • Commercial use where the product is not intended for commercial use

  • Damage caused during transportation after delivery to the customer

  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

  • Routine maintenance or consumable items

Examples of commonly excluded wear items may include tires, tubes, upholstery, grips, bulbs, fuses, and other components that naturally deteriorate through normal use, unless specifically covered by the applicable warranty.

4. Batteries

Battery coverage can vary significantly by manufacturer and product.

Where batteries are covered, the applicable warranty period and conditions will be determined by the manufacturer’s warranty.

Battery deterioration caused by normal use, improper charging, prolonged storage without charging, extreme temperatures, or failure to follow the manufacturer’s charging and storage instructions may not be covered.

Please follow the charging, storage, and maintenance instructions supplied with your scooter.

5. Warranty Claim Process

To begin a warranty claim, contact our customer service team:

Email: support@pridemscooter.com
Phone: +1 (754) 349 0104

Please provide:

  • Your full name

  • Order number

  • Product name and model

  • Date of purchase

  • Description of the problem

  • Photographs or videos showing the issue, where applicable

  • Serial number, if available

Our team may request additional information to help diagnose the problem.

For certain issues, we may ask you to perform basic troubleshooting steps before determining the appropriate warranty solution.

6. Inspection and Diagnosis

Products submitted for warranty consideration may need to be inspected or evaluated before a warranty remedy is approved.

We may request photographs, videos, diagnostic information, or other documentation.

In some cases, the product may need to be returned to an authorized service center or manufacturer for inspection.

If an inspection determines that the issue is not covered under warranty, you may be responsible for applicable inspection, repair, shipping, or service costs. We will communicate any applicable charges before proceeding with paid repairs whenever reasonably possible.

7. Repairs and Replacement Parts

When a warranty claim is approved, repairs may be performed using original or equivalent replacement parts, subject to availability and the manufacturer’s warranty requirements.

Replacement parts may be new, refurbished, or equivalent parts where permitted by the applicable warranty.

If a replacement product is provided, the replacement may be the same model or a comparable model depending on availability.

8. Shipping and Transportation

Shipping arrangements for warranty claims depend on the nature of the problem and the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.

For large mobility scooters, special transportation arrangements may be necessary.

We will provide specific instructions when your warranty claim is approved.

Customers should not ship a mobility scooter or other large product to us without first receiving authorization and shipping instructions.

9. Transfer of Warranty

Unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer, warranties are generally provided to the original purchaser and may not be transferable to another person.

Please retain your original order confirmation or receipt as proof of purchase.

10. Warranty Period

The warranty period is determined by the specific product and manufacturer.

If your product has a specific warranty period, that information will be provided on the applicable product page, product documentation, warranty certificate, or purchase materials.

If you are unsure about your product’s warranty period, contact us before submitting a claim.

11. Manufacturer Warranty

Where a product is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, the manufacturer’s warranty terms may apply directly.

Manufacturer warranties can differ by product, component, model, country, and intended use.

Nothing in this policy is intended to replace or reduce any manufacturer’s warranty rights that apply to your purchase.

12. Consumer Rights

This Warranty Policy does not exclude or limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

If applicable consumer-protection law provides additional rights regarding defective or faulty products, those rights remain unaffected.

13. Warranty vs. Returns

A warranty claim is different from a standard return.

A return generally concerns your right to return an eligible product within the applicable return period.

A warranty claim concerns a qualifying defect or failure covered by the applicable warranty after purchase.

For information about returning a product, please see our Return & Refund Policy.
